Dixon Park
Dixon Park
Dixon Park has been the home of Ballyclare Comrades FC since 1936. Situated in the heart of the community in Ballyclare, the ground has gone through some major changes since we first called it home — but it remains a proud focal point for the club and the town.
The stadium has three seated stands in total: two on the clubhouse side of the pitch and a third seated stand with standing terraces behind one of the goals, used as the away end. At the other end of the pitch is a standing terrace, with a wall perimeter surrounding the pitch and level standing available throughout.

A Ground with History
Dixon Park is named after Major Daniel Dixon, who fought in France during the First World War alongside the club’s founder members. These archive photographs give a glimpse of how the ground has evolved over the decades, from its early days in the 1950s through to the 1980s and beyond.
Dixon Park in the 1980s
This photograph from 1981 captures Dixon Park during the club’s intermediate era, years before the Comrades would achieve senior status in 1990 and compete at the highest level of Northern Ireland club football.
